Ober Gatlinburg features nine trails serviced by two quad lifts, one double lift and one surface lift. The Resort also offers terrain for all abilities, from beginners experiencing snow sports for the first time, to seasoned experts headed to the moguls and the terrain park.  

Snow tubing is another popular activity at Ober Gatlinburg in addition to skiing, snowboarding and ice skating.

Gatlinburg’s four-month Winterfest Celebration transforms the Great Smoky Mountain resort town into a spectacular and fun-filled winter wonderland from now through February 28, 2010.

Gatlinburg Winterfest events include a holiday craft show, Christmas parade, Winter Magic Tunes & Tales, a popular New Year’s Ball Drop, and a spectacular holiday light display offering up millions of colorful lights.

Visitors can even take a guided trolley ride to see the spectacular Gatlinburg Winter Magic lighting display. The trolley departs from Ripley’s Aquarium Plaza. Tours leave nightly at 6:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. beginning November 4 (except on December 4, 24, 25 & 31) and run each Saturday during the month of January.
